Douglas Scott Ward Sr. was born on July 21, 1961 to the late Frank Ward and Sadie Ray Ward in Washington, D.C. After Douglas graduated from Hamilton Junior High School before joining the work force.
In 1990, Douglas met Beverly Fowler in Ivy City in Washington D.C. Douglas and Beverly went on to have a son Douglas Scott Ward Jr.
Douglas, was a very outspoken individual, he liked to be by himself sometimes and was never the type to back down from an argument. He truly enjoyed having holiday meals with the family, hanging out outside with his friends, and watching sports.
Douglas, passed away on November 3rd after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, He was 63 years old.
Douglas is survived by his son Douglas Ward Jr.
Douglas Sr., was predeceased by Sadie ward ( mother) Jonnie Gail Simmons ( sister) and Martha Jane Vines Straughter.
